In this video we briefly explore the Main Menu of the VIP Vision NVR8PRO6 Video Recorder interface, divided into three sections: Operation, Info and Setting.
The Operation section covers Search (find footage by time and date), Smart Play (retrieve footage from a specific event such as a detected intrusion), Backup (retrieve and back up footage) and Shut Down. The Info section provides device, event, network and log information, hard-disk status, temperature, network settings, bitrate, resolution and more.
The Setting section is where you modify, adjust or delete: Camera and Network settings, Event responses, Storage configuration, and System options such as display, date/time and firmware upgrades.
In today’s video, we’re going to briefly explore the Main Menu of the of the VIP Vision NVR8PRO6 Video Recorder User Interface. The Main Menu is divided into three sections: the Operation, the Info, and the Setting Sections. VIP Vision NVR8PRO6 Video Recorder is one of our cutting-edge security camera systems.
The Operation section is further divided into four subsections. The first subsection is Search which you can use when you’re looking for a footage of any given time and date. Smart Play, the next section, is used to retrieve a footage from a specific event, such as when the system detected an intrusion. If you want to retrieve and backup a footage and you already have the date and time for that, you need to use the Backup feature. Use the Shut Down tab if you want to turn the recorder off.
The VIP Vision NVR8PRO6 Video Recorder also has an Info section which provides you with information on the device’s system, events, network, and logs. Although it is not directly related to the footage, you can access hard disk information, temperature, network settings, bits-per-second, resolution, and more. Basically, anything and everything about the VIP Vision NVR8PRO6 Video Recorder can be found in the Info section.
The Setting is the last section we’re going to briefly explore in this video. Basically, if you need to modify, adjust, or delete something, you will have to go to the Setting section. This section allows you to change and adjust the Camera and Network settings. Users can control what happens when something happens (such as instances when an alarm is triggered or there’s something wrong with the hard disk) with the help of the Event section. Configure or override your hard disk in the Storage section, as well as switch which hard drive records the footage. The System section, on the other hand, allows you to do things, such as modify display settings and change the date and time. If it’s time for firmware upgrades, you will also need to access the System section.
